Happy Hive Power Up Day to everyone! 🎉 This marks the first month where I’ve either posted every day or powered up some Hive—a small milestone, but one that keeps me motivated and growing.

I love the gamification aspect of Hive Power Up Day—it gives us a reason to stay active, grow our stake, and support the ecosystem. It’s good for Hive and good for you, and that’s what makes it exciting!

How I Got Hooked on Hive

I first discovered Hive through Splinterlands, knowing absolutely nothing about how the blockchain worked. Slowly, after months (and then years), Hive became a part of my routine.

I enjoy my time here—posting about Splinterlands, engaging with the community, and watching my stake grow. It’s fun, it’s rewarding, and best of all, it’s built around a great community.

One of my earliest memories? I was watching a @bunsbagsandcaps stream, joined late, and managed to snipe a giveaway (I think it was a pack or a card). That moment was a game-changer—I realized how welcoming and generous the Hive & Splinterlands community was and still is.

Not long after, I caught a stream from @clove71, where I got a few packs—that was it. I was hooked! Since then, I’ve never left Splinterlands and have played every day for the past three years.

Paying It Forward

Signed up for Splinterlands and Purchased SPELLBOOK. Thanks to BRAVETOFU)Now, three years later, I want to give back to the community. @bravetofu has been doing an amazing job onboarding new players, and recently, @finpulse joined the game and even started a Hive blog about it! (Check it out here:

A new player? Someone just starting their Hive journey? I wanted to show some support!

So, I did two things:
