this very nice collection of artisanal musical instruments, I almost couldn't believe my eyes! One of the instruments looked so familiar, almost the same as the saxophonist who has been living in my classroom already for years. He was there before I arrived at this place. How did he get here...? I am not sure. And what is he doing at all in a piano classroom? However, the reality is that it broke and it lies in parts:
I actually didn't even notice when his condition got so bad. It has been so many years since he's been playing his music in the window, watching the rain, the sun and the sunsets every afternoon. That scene is sometimes impressive, the sky turns red and purple, and through this window, I can see that colourful play too. These musical afternoons lasted until the unfortunate moment when he lost his head!
Now the real question is whether this thing of losing his head has a connection with the topic of being headless. Maybe he also wanted to be a headless influencer but my bet goes to a different coloured pocket.
I guess he couldn't stand being here anymore, far from the ocean he had probably crossed once, a long time ago. Maybe he needed a different rhythm; the one he used to play with his craft orchestra and other instruments. I teach piano, not saxophone. Excuse me, but how could I help you?
Silence... No answer from this wooden figurine; he pretended to be asleep on the piano keys.
So what could I do? Maybe involve him in a challenge It can't be true, and make him play the piano instead of the saxophone? With these little wooden hands, it would be almost impossible.

Yes, as also Buhito said, the piano is his real instrument. It is his vocation, now he has it clear! Hahaha, I also like how the gif turned out, it was a lot of fun to make it. 😜
I'm intrigued by how you made that gif!!! Now you have a piano partner!
How? Well, I fixed the phone (I didn't have a tripod so I fixed it on one music stand - had to use a bit of a tape too to fix the phone case hahaha) and then started to record a video. Every few seconds I paused the video and moved the wooden hands and then again pressed the recording and so on, many times until the hands got up to the highest keys and back to the lowest keys where they started. At home, I sped up the video 32 times and converted it into a gif. In the same positions of hands on the keyboard, I also made photos, so as to have both possibilities, to make a gif from the video or from the photos. ;)

That is true! Already there in the classroom, I had a lot of fun while recording his playing 😂 ( but I didn't have a lot of time, I wanted to take more photos and maybe make the story longer and with more details, but the next student arrived 🤷♀)

Don't get angry @mipiano, but I have the feeling that no musician, at least the ones I know, has a head. Heart yes, I don't deny it, but head I don't think so....
Listening to that “Ocean”, I have no doubt that that saxophonist has a big heart.... and I can imagine him sailing far seas playing with the saxophone a Jazz tune, accompanied by a great pianist.

Yes, there could be some glue to fix that. I already pointed out that to the owner the other day, so let's see if they want to fix the broken saxophonist. If not, his hands can always play the piano with my help ;)

It indeed looks like a cigarette, (actually he was attached to the wooden part of the instrument with that thingy coming out from his mouth) but if we think it better, maybe Lady Mary Jane was the reason he learned to play the piano in no time, immediately.
Making the gif was so much fun haha, but to be honest, at one moment I also thought about adding a musical background to it. In the end, it stayed only in this version, you know, like silent movies back in time 😂
