Apis Hive first contest - Random Objects

It's been two months since Apis Hive was launched, it's time to host a contest! And the contest is open to everyone even if you're not part of Apis Hive yet!!

First of all, in case you haven't heard of us, Apis Hive is an initiative designed to help small accounts grow on Hive and support them on this journey. The target users are those who are on Hive for the long run and not primarily for the rewards. We have a set of criteria that an account must meet before they can get support, they're easy to achieve if the user is here for the long run.

The Apis Hive initiative includes 3 parts

• Gamification, so far this has proved very popular with our users
• Delegation, not massive but it's extra sweet if you've made the effort to work for it
• Support, everyone needs a bit of help and motivation, and we're here to provide that

The contest - Random Objects.

Next month, we will launch a new feature on our website, we're certain our users are going to love it, but we're going to keep it a secret for the time being. We're looking for some artwork that we can use for this feature. The artwork can be anything, hence Random Objects. To give you an idea, here's a couple of meh ones we experimented with. They're not exactly up to the standard we're looking for😂 that's why we decided to ask everyone for your creative inputs.

Here's the brief on what we're looking for:

• anything with a bee theme is preferred but not mandatory
• anything with our project name Apis Hive would be nice but not mandatory
• the focus should be in the Random Object and not the bee theme or the words Apis Hive eg the bee is too big compared to the umbrella in our example
• you can use our project assets as part of your creation but please do not modify them eg do not turn our Bees into a soldier
• simple objects will be preferred. Complex, abstract or scenery won't work for our requirement
• be creative, the random object can be anything but no rude, sexual, violent or offensive objects

Other contest rules

• all entries must include English and be posted in the Apis Hive Community https://peakd.com/c/hive-186600/created. Not cross posting will be accepted.
• each person can submit one entry only with no more than 10 Random Objects ( can be less). Quality over quantity please
• the Random Object submissions must be in PNG format with a transparent background
• original creation only, it can be painting, drawing, photography or any form, as long as it fits the brief. Bonus points will be given for proof of work.
• AI generated Random Objects are allowed but you must share a screen capture of the prompt and output for your submission
• no plagiarism , or royalty free images allowed
• if any one or more of your Random Objects is chosen as a winner, you agree to transfer full unreserved rights to Apis Hive for use on our website, without credit to you. We will of course give you credit in the contest announcement post.
• judging will be on each individual Random Object. Depending on the entries, between 10 to 15 Random Objects will be chosen as the winners. Each winning Random Object will receive 3 HBD
• the contest will close on 30 April
