Weekend-Engagement WEEK #252: Cat Lover

Hello friends of the Hive and the Weekend Experiences community, I hope you are having a great week. Today I come with one of the activities proposed by our friend @galenkp who every weekend brings us entertaining proposals to develop, so if you don’t know what to write about you can try some of his proposals.

Cats or dogs, which do you prefer and why?

Since I was a child I have always loved animals, so I have had many pets from dogs, rabbits, birds even once I had a small iguana, however, this time I will talk about three little cats that have won my heart.

First I will start with my two little ones who have been by my side for a long time; Jon Snow Bonaparte (my little gray tabby cat) and Rubius Alexander Hamilton (my chubby blond tabby cat), both are brothers since they come from the same litter, their mom is the cat of one of my mom’s neighbors, who came to the house looking for a safe place to give birth, giving birth to a total of six little and very healthy kittens.

After finding a home for the little cats I decided to adopt two of them, who eventually became my faithful daily companions. They made me laugh because of their playfulness and witticisms, especially after a tiring day at work.

And last but not least, the newest member of the family: Terreneitor. I found her one day on my way to the store to buy food, I found her in the middle of the street and when I saw her I knew I couldn’t leave her alone to her fate, so I decided to take her with me and take care of her until I found her a new family, however, the more time we spent together the more I got attached to her, so I decided together with my partner to adopt her and she became part of the family.

Although I love all animals, I can’t deny that cats have a special place in my heart.
