THIS IS MY SPLINTER ORIGIN STORY 💛 [Eng/Esp]

Greetings humans, how are you...

Talking about @splinterlands takes me back to my past, when I was a man living with his mother, using an old PC with a broken screen. I used it to write a few posts and play some matches, without really understanding much about this whole world or having a clear idea of what my future in life would look like.

Nowadays, things have changed. I've been living with my wife for three years now, we’re paying for our apartment, and I was even able to buy my PC thanks to Hive (I did a power down a few months ago).

That’s why I have such a strong affection for this game and for another music based one (you know which one) because they marked my beginnings on Hive. Thanks to that, I was able to cover some basic needs, support my education, and connect with amazing people who share similar interests.

💛 MY FIRST CARD AND MY LAST CARD

I don’t remember my most memorable match, but I do remember the first day I got a golden common card, which I sold for 21 dollars.

Back then, you could buy potions with credits, and the cards that came from packs were NFTs that you could trade quickly (I’m talking about two years ago), and we were in the middle of the NFT game and crypto boom, so there was a lot of activity.

As for the last card that got me excited it’s one I used to think was overpowered and I hated it because I didn’t have it. But a few days ago, it finally dropped for me in a Gladius pack.

STRATEGY EVOLUTION

Well, now I understand the game much better. I even feel like I’ve created some good content, even though I no longer get as much support from curators due to new policies (which I still respect). I’m still here because I really enjoy card games and I even play a couple of Web2 ones as well.
Regarding my account, I’m finally in a good guild and have a wide variety of cards, which makes me happy. I can even reach Gold league now something that was impossible for me a few years ago.

FUTURE GOALS

I would love to spread the word about this game here in Colombia. To put it into perspective, I’m one of the few Colombians on Hive, and I think I might be the only one playing Splinterlands.
I’d like to get some support or try streaming, but for that you need capital and right now, I don’t have much to offer prizes to viewers or help them create a game account. But that’s an idea I’ve had for a while. I’d also like to create a new account where I can show things more clearly.

On a more personal note, I’d love to own an epic land plot, or at least make my common land profitable. But I still need to learn and crunch some numbers because there are some concepts I don’t fully understand yet.

In general, I have really fond memories of Splinterlands. It’s helped me grow as a person in an indirect way. I hope this year I can contribute more to the community and help make this project known in my country.

Saludos humanos como están...

Hablar de @splinterlands es remontarme a mi pasado donde era un hombre que vivía con su madre e incluso con un viejo pc que tenia la pantalla rota, con el que escribía algunos post y jugaba algunas partidas sin entender mucho de todo este mundo y sin tan claro que seria mi futuro en la vida.

Hoy en día las cosas han cambiado ya que hace 3 años que vivo con mi mujer y estamos pagando este apartamento e incluso pude comprar mi pc gracias a hive ( hice un power down meses atrás ).

Es por eso que le tengo tanto cariño a este juego y a otro de música ( ustedes saben cual es ) porque fueron mis inicios en hive y gracias eso pude suplir algunas necesidades y ayudarme para mi educación como también conocer personas increíbles con gustos similares.

MI PRIMERA CARTA Y MI ULTIMA CARTA

No recuerdo mi partida mas memorable, pero si recuerdo el primer día que me salio una carta común dorada la cual vendí por 21 dólares en esta.
En este entonces uno compraba como unas pociones con créditos y las cartas que salían en los sobres eran nft que podías comerciar rápidamente ( te estoy hablando de hace 2 años ) y estábamos en el boom de los juegos nft y todo este mundo cripto entonces había mucha actividad.

Ya si te hablo de mi ultima carta que me genero una emoción te hablo de ella que para mi esta rota y la odiaba porque no la tenia, pero hace unos días me salio en un sobre de Gladius.

EVOLUCION DE ESTRATEGIA
Bueno pues ahora entiendo mas el juego, e incluso siento que he creado buen contenido así ya no tenga tanto apoyo por parte de los curadores por sus nuevas políticas ( igual respeto sus cambios ) pero aun continuo aquí ya que me gustan mucho los juegos de cartas e incluso juego otro par de web 2.
En cuanto a mi cuenta por fin estoy en un clan bueno y tengo gran variedad de cartas lo cual me hace feliz, como también puedo llegar a oro lo que años atrás era imposible para mi.

METAS A FUTURO
Bueno pues me encantaría dar a conocer este juego aquí en Colombia , te lo pongo así soy de los pocos Colombianos en hive y creo que el único que juega splinterlands.
Quisiera algún apoyo o intentar hacer stream pero para eso se necesita capital y por el momento no cuento con mucho que digamos para dar premios a los espectadores o quizás ayudarles a crear una cuenta del juego, pero esa seria una idea que he tenido hace rato, como también crear una nueva cuenta donde muestre un poco mejor las cosas.
Ya si lo hacemos mas personal me encantaría poder tener una tierra épica o hacer rentable la tierra común que poseo, pero aun debo aprender y tirar números ya que hay conceptos que no entiendo bien.

En general tengo muy bellos recuerdos con splinterlands ya que ha ayudado mucho a crecer como persona de una manera indirecta, espero este año poder aportar mas a esta comunidad y dar a conocer este proyecto a mi país.
