Sofia gets corruption points in every situation, but the story is unaffected. This is a contradiction.
And I'm not saying that Sofia should know Dylan's true self, but that Dylan is still being "described" like a child who needs sex education. In the game.

Totally agree, and what you’re actually honing in on is the entire problem with AWAM. You can’t call it a game because there are no actual game elements (other than a couple of ham-fisted attempts at mini games - I’ll not waste any more time on those, at least not now). You can’t call it a story because there are so many different and mutually exclusive stories going on.
The last update illustrates the same sort of problem that’s endemic to L&P’s design:no matter what path you’re on, Sophia is taking a bath that evening. We know this because there’s no variable that makes her date with Liam possible.
If you’re not on the Dylan path but are on the swinging path then there’s absolutely no reason why Sophia would be wearing a bikini under her robe, and no convincing reason why Liam would feel awkward or embarrassed by Sophia’s flirting. He should be excited by it.
If you’re on the good wife path she would most likely come to the door in sweatpants or some other casual house attire, and would change for the bath after meeting the boss.
if you are on the Dylan path, she’s probably also not going to wear a bikini under her robe to meet the boss, cuz that’s really weird and would raise questions if not suspicions. She’s much more likely to be wearing either casual attire or totally naked under there. And only in this scenario does Liam’s awkwardness and jealousy make any sense.
in no way does wearing the bikini under her robe make any sense at all.

It's still the same event but a continuation of Part 1. This event is covered in two parts, and part 1 was released back on April 29th. Part 2 will probably be released sometime around July or August. Then Dylan/Ellie/Christine's event will be up after Part 2 is released.

Its hard for me to understand how others havent seen the massive dropoff in realism. The dialogue went from somewhat realistic and believable to cheap trailer park porno nonsense overnight it seems.

Many of us have. I think for me the beginning of the end was PD11 and Emma relegated to the Dylan route. All of a sudden she went from having an interest in Sophia to thinking Dylan is a "cutie". Where the beginning of the end will be for others will obviously be different.
But then "overnight" is quite apt in that everything this PD appears to be fan service. I'm just hoping it gets back on track for the Ellie route on PD14.

I'd have to sit back and think about when the beginning of the end happened. But I'd say that while the writing decline in PD12, it has fallen off a cliff in PD13. In PD12 the poor dialog was worth discussing because it was still good enough to be worthy of discussion. But now it's an absolute trainwreck and not even worth discussing.

He has potential, agreed. AWAM's true potential has been squandered, however, because of the Dev's choices. Regrettably, this isn't once upon a time (I sometimes wish it was) but real time. I never claim to know everything better than the author but with some things concerning erotica, perhaps he could stand to take note of suggestions, now & again, before he runs the project into the ground. Maybe he should read some classic porn/erotica & adapt the scenarios for his game. When it comes to football, I've been to enough matches, to have witnessed several occasions when the crowd got it right. Nobody sane expects perfection & L&P is given a lot of leeway by most fans but what's happening now resembles a hollow echo of what this project was & could still have been, with different decisions.yes once upon a time......
There are probably a thousand people who know everything better here. It's like in a football stadium, there are 50,000 referees and experts and they know everything better.
In the end it is L&P who had a very good idea for a project a few years ago and decided to start it. We all went with him and see for ourselves what that means. Let's face it, each of us would be in our head and our situation, would we do everything right and could we make it right for everyone and make everyone happy? It's damn difficult. I think he has a stubborn head and wanted too much, including money.
I want to be the last one to make him king or think everything's fine and I haven't given him any money yet. The game is just the way it is now, without fine lines, but with very good moments.
I would finish the game in two or three years, look back at what went wrong and start a new project with the whole new experience.
The man has a lot of potential.
AWAM is a case of over-reach & as we know there'll only be one kind of change to the development, i.e. more slowing down, I would suggest that the game needs wrapping up ASAP. After 6 years, why not just let Dylan shag his mother, give the kids something to wank to & embark on the next game, 'What Dylan Did Next,' 'A Son & Brother,' or whatever? That way he could retain his virgin schoolboy audience & maintain a decent income stream. He might even become motivated again, as the possibilities are endless.
Of course, folks like me wouldn't be playing but it's been obvious for a while that there's no story left for many long-term fans, if they're not into m/s incest. I only stay with it out of curiousity & for the renders, which are still great. He could at least be in a position to produce above average teen porn, as opposed to the current slowest average teen porn still not abandoned.
